One week to go !

Final arrangements are taking place as I write this. Coach & Hotel are being paid for, numbers for paintballing & canoeing totalled, working out if I will need my mankini (it might be hot enough for some sunbathing, you never know!!) and deciding if a number 4 haircut was short enough or should I go back for a number 2.

Any money not in needs to be paid on Sunday morning also passports & E-111 cards need to be handed in.

Racenight 2008

I have been busy counting all the money from the racenight, and with a few quid left to collect here is total we should come to....

Betting on the night £198
Horses, races, tickets £399 (to be split with club)

This gives us £550 plus Tescos £1131 and Morrissons £450

Over £2000 !!

Fundraising for tour

Calling all players (and supporters)

You all want to go on tour......
You all want a good time......
You all want fame & fortune.....

Well fame costs and here's where you start paying !! (doo,do,do,dooo,do,do,do.....FAME!! ) Don't worry just ask your dads.

We have arranged bag packing at Tesco's Golden Hill on Friday 21st March and Morrisons Cribbs Causeway Monday 24th March. All players coming on tour are expected to turn up and pack bags. These funds are for your tour (i.e Meals, Paintballing, Canoeing, and not for the adults beer fund). We also need adults for supervision.

More information will be given out when the details are finalised.

Tickets cost £3.50 (It's a cheap night out if you back the right horses)

The story so far.

We intend to travel, by coach, via Dover, on the 10th of April to Perigueux, in the Perigord region of France. It is going to be a long journey: we will be travelling from the Wise at approx 6.00pm on the 10th, arriving in Perigueux around 4.00pm on the 11th. Once there we intend to stay in The Ibis hotel, which is on the river, in the middle of town.

The first match is pencilled in for saturday against Perigueux itself. There will be a further match on Monday or Tuesday (we are still at early stages at the moment!!), against either tresillac or a Perigueux Select 15 - it all depends on how much we beat them by in the first match!

There are a few things we can do while we are there, in our down-time: Canoeing, waterpark, paintballing.... Please be aware boys; if we do paintballing, I am going to have great pleasure in slaughtering every last one of ya!!! Of course, all this needs to be paid for, so anyone who has any ideas and is willing to help organise them, Garry will be more than pleased to here your suggestions.
